Role: Technical Lead & Emerging Project Manager
The British Gas Internal Roadshow was designed to engage and inform engineers about a new nationwide marketing and sales strategy. To ensure the message was impactful and memorable, the event featured a striking AV and set design across multiple rooms. At the core of the setup was a 6x2m LED video wall and four-point sound reinforcement system in the main stage room, supported by two custom-built breakout rooms and a dynamic market stall area.
Though originally brought in for technical support, I was frequently asked by my employer to take on unofficial project management duties—coordinating team setups, managing timelines, and communicating directly with the client. Over time, I gained the trust of both the team and the client, ultimately being requested for more dates than initially booked.
